SATA II is backward compatible with SATA I. So you can put SATA II on SATA I controller as well. (However, some SATA I controllers doesn’t like SATA II HDDs. Don’t know if that is true with SSD as well. )

I read that it requires a SATA 150 drive… is this true? Almost all SSDs are SATA 300 spec (SATA II)
