It was a little crazy and bought a NETBOOK, obtained the cheapest machine that could find the windows. Just put in a 9-cell battery, now getting 7 to 9 hours of battery life. Not a bad machine, antivirus software actually reduces it, but great for the price.

yeah, integrated is total crap. It’d be crap even IF it didn’t leech off of the processor. Getting a GPU (or having one to start) is the best upgrade you can put in your comp even if you don’t play any games.

got the 9 cell on ebay for $64, free shipping
it is getting a good 7 to 8 hours of real world usage, even more when i downgrade the processor to 800mhz to save power.

actually i would buy it, in the old days macbook pro meant one thing, seperate video card for better graphics, but now they make aliminum macbooks and call them powerbooks.
since the first powerbook and macbook pro’s, there were seperate video cards, not this integrated nvidia crap

You do not care about the price of things?, buy me a Dell Adamo and I will make you an unboxing video for you, lol

The best is the macbook pro, make sure it is one with two video options, not just the 9400m video. You need a seperate video card for best performance.

Great unboxing…I was considering purchasing an Acer netbook. I’ve heard that in many cases netbooks can’t handle more graphical intensive programs and processes like using YouTube and the like. Is that true with the Aspire One as well?
