Accumulated dust particles may be the cause for this problem. If the pressure of the air coming out of the cooling outlet is generally low, there might be a problem.

Sometimes, you may also discover that all of your drives may not be working when you turn on the laptop. This problem is usually prevalent in detachable drives, such as a CD-ROM or a DVD-ROM.
